A teacher/class analysis report is generated that
summarizes the concepts in which the class as a whole is good, moderate
or limited, along with conceptwise performance of each student in the
class. These help a teacher to fine tune his/her class strategy and help
each of his/her students improve. The teacher can use the class analysis
to plan which concepts to teach first and which last and how much time
to spend on each, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each
student and to plan for their success.
These GEMS analytical tools are helpful to any teacher
in any class setting, though some class settings will allow for more
attention to the individual student needs, yet all teachers – even
those in large classrooms with a strictly whole class approach – can
benefit from these reports that help them fine-tune their class teaching
strategy.
